Design and Development – Cindy Yu
The Design and Development sub-division communicates with all other Mechanical sub-divisions to sketch, finalize, and enter designs into a 3-D modeling software on the computer. These students maintain design revisions and prepare the final designs to be manufactured.
Quality Control – Vince Brando
The Quality Control sub-division communicates with the entire mechanical division to ensure that the entire robot is built optimally and efficiently.
Manufacturing – Max Stasio
The Manufacturing sub-division machines any parts responsible for robot fabrication based on the design instructions. These students utilize traditional and technological methods, including CNC and 3-D printing, to craft each part of the robot.
Drivetrain – JD Gregor
The Drivetrain sub-division designs and manufactures the robot’s chassis. This includes the wheels, wheel systems, and lower frame of the robot.
